How do I receive a quote?

Can I place an order with a PO?
Yes, there are two simple ways to purchase Magnetic Mic with a PO:
When will my order ship?
We work as hard as possible to get orders shipped as quickly as possible. Orders placed by 3:00pm EST during normal business days usually ship the same day. If your order is placed after 3:00 pm EST, your order will ship the following business day. When your order is shipped, we will send you an email. This email will include a tracking number when available.
Can I create an account?

How do I log into my account?
Logging into your account is a simple process. You can select “Log In” which is found in the upper right-hand corner of header on most pages of this website. If you are not logged into your account when proceeding to checkout, you can still log into your account during the checkout process by selecting “Log in to your account” at the top of the page.
What should I do if I lost my password?
Don’t worry if you have lost or forgotten your password, resetting your password is a painless process. After login attempts have been unsuccessful on the account login page, you can select the “forgot password” link beneath the log in form. Follow that link to the reset password page, type in your email, and you will be sent a link to reset your password within minutes.
What is Magnetic Mic?
Magnetic Mic is “the magnetic holder for your microphone” that enhances safety by reducing distracted driving. It helps drivers stay focused on the road when picking up and returning a CB or police radio mic to its holder. Magnetic Mic virtually eliminates the risk of finger and hand injuries caused by worn, sharpened hangup mic clips; helping increase safety and uptime in any industry that relies on radio communication.
What is included with each Magnetic Mic?
Magnetic Mic is sold as a Single Unit and a 25 count Bulk Pack. Each Magnetic Mic comes with the necessary hardware and complete, easy-to-follow instructions.

Magnetic Mic isn’t a replacement microphone?
No, Magnetic Mic is a microphone accessory – a magnetic holder consisting of a magnetic base for your dashboard or console (that replaces your conventional metal hangup mic clip), and a disc-shaped adapter for the microphone itself. Magnetic Mic is designed to work with your existing microphone.
Why do I need Magnetic Mic?
The main benefit is safety: Magnetic Mic helps you stay focused on the road when picking up and returning your radio microphone to its holder. It was invented by a police officer / driving safety instructor who noticed his trainees taking their eyes off the road for critical seconds when they picked up and hung up their police radio mics. Magnetic Mic also increases flexibility for vehicle setup. You can install it in areas of the dash and console that are traditionally considered less-than-optimal for a microphone. Today, Magnetic Mic is used by more than 55,000 law enforcement, fire, EMS and commercial vehicle drivers. Anyone who uses a radio microphone will benefit from Magnetic Mic.
Where can I install Magnetic Mic?
You can install the Magnetic Mic clip on any solid surface that’s within the driver’s reach, free of obstruction, and away from any electronic devices that may be affected by a magnetic field. Rule of thumb: If you can fit a common, full sized microphone between Magnetic Mic and the other object, the object is probably at a safe distance. With Magnetic Mic, you have greater flexibility for vehicle setup than with a traditional mic clip. Because you don’t actually have to “guide” the microphone all the way to the base and make sure it’s securely in place, you can install Magnetic Mic, for instance, on the passenger side of a vehicle’s center console.
Is it easy to install?
We like to say it’s “easy as 1-2-3.” In most cases, all you need is 1 Magnetic Mic, a number 2 Phillips screwdriver, and about 3 minutes of your time. Each Magnetic Mic comes with the necessary hardware, and complete, easy-to-follow instructions.
Can I install Magnetic Mic in the existing screw holes from my old mic clip?
Yes. Just unscrew the hangup mic clip and install the magnetic base in the same holes. Magnetic Mic is compatible with virtually any microphone.
What parts are magnetic?
The only magnetic part of our mic clip is the magnetic base (part #1) that you mount to your vehicle’s dashboard (or other solid surface).
Does Magnetic Mic adversely affect the microphone’s functionality?
No. We designed and tested Magnetic Mic to work with virtually any microphone (including mobile radios, police radios, CB radios, PA systems, etc.).
Can Magnetic Mic adversely affect electronic devices?
If properly installed, Magnetic Mic is unlikely to adversely affect electronic devices. Choose a location that’s a safe distance from anything adversely affected by a magnet (such as an erasable hard drive). Rule of thumb: If you can fit a common, full sized microphone between Magnetic Mic and the other object, the object is probably at a safe distance.
Does Magnetic Mic work with radios that use a private line or scan function?
Yes, we designed and tested Magnetic Mic to be used on radios with a private line / scan function that activates when the system is hung up and grounded. We include a “grounding spring” with every Magnetic Mic specifically for these systems. Currently, hundreds of customers around the globe use these kinds of systems with Magnetic Mic. Every radio system is unique, and some may require a setting adjustment or program change to work optimally with Magnetic Mic. Please contact the proper radio system technical support for assistance.
Will Magnetic Mic work with my microphone?
We’ve tested Magnetic Mic with every common radio on the market today Motorola, Kenwood,Harris, Vertex, Whelen, Code 3, Federal Signal, SoundOff Signal, iCom, Midland, Hytera, TYT, and more. Our more than 255,000 satisfied customers confirm Magnetic Mic’s broad compatibility. If you do find that Magnetic Mic won’t work with your microphone, let us know. We’ll gladly offer you either a full refund or look into fabricating the part that will make it work for your application. We’d welcome the opportunity to make it work-we value customer input toward making our product even better.

Can I return my purchase?
Yes. The purchased products can be returned as long as they are in their original condition, unused, and undamaged by the owner/user. The return must be made within 30 days from ship date for a refund. To request a refund, replacement, or to start a return, please reach out to us by filling out the form on our Contact Page.
Does Magnetic Mic come with a warranty?

Does the warranty have any limitations or exclusions?
Yes. Please read below: LIMITED CUSTOMER WARRANTY
1.1. Innovative Products, Inc. (hereafter “IPI”) warrants to you, the original end-user of this IPI product (hereafter “You”, “Your”, or “Original Customer”) that such product is free from defects in material or workmanship. This limited warranty is limited to twelve (12) months from the date of Your purchase of the product, whether or not actual use takes place on that date, or twenty-four (24) months from IPI’s sale of the product to any authorized IPI Dealer, which ever date occurs first. 1.2. IPI’s obligations under this limited warranty and Your sole remedy for its breach is limited to repair by IPI at its manufacturing facility of any aspect of the product proven to be defective or, in IPI’s sole discretion, refund or replacement. 1.3. All claims under this limited warranty must be made to IPI, following the Claims Procedure set forth below, within ninety (90) days from the date the defect is discovered, otherwise, this limited warranty is void.
2.1. The limited warranty provided herein is for repair or replacement only. IPI shall not be liable to You or anyone else for any other loss, cost, damage, or expense of any kind including any incidental, consequential, exemplary, special, or punitive damages, nor for any loss of use, revenue, or profit. In no event will IPI be liable to You or anyone else for any amount greater than Your purchase price for the product. 2.2. The limited warranty provided herein shall be void and of no effect in the event that the product has been subjected to (a) misuse, neglect, accident, improper or inadequate maintenance, corrosive environments, environments containing airborne contaminants or excessive temperatures; (b) unauthorized modifications to the product; or (c) improper installation. 2.3. THIS WARRANTY IS THE SOLE AND EXCLUSIVE WARRANTY FROM IPI. IPI SPECIFICALLY DISCLAIMS ALL OTHER WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO THE IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE. 2.4. The person who may have sold You this product, nor any other person or entity, is authorized to bind IPI to any other warranty, obligation, promise, or liability as regards any IPI product.
3.1. If You feel Your IPI product has a manufacturing defect in materials or workmanship, AND You have complied with any Limitation or Exclusion set forth above, You may return this product for evaluation and review to IPI at: Innovative Products, Inc.; Attn: Returns, 3201 E Royalton Rd., Suite 50, Cleveland, OH 44147. You agree to pre-pay all shipping for such a return, standard ground shipping rate, which IPI will refund to You should your claim prove to be valid. 3.2. With return of Your product to IPI for evaluation of Your claim, You must (a) carefully package the product for safe shipping; (b) include documentation showing proof of, and date of, purchase; and (c) provide a statement explaining why You claim there to be a defect in product materials or workmanship.
4.1.1 Once IPI has received return of the product and all items supporting Your claim as required above, IPI will review and evaluate Your claim and respond to You within 4 – 6 weeks and either: (a) honor Your claim and return to You the repaired product or, in IPI’s sole discretion, provide to You a replacement product or refund. IPI will pay for the return shipping to You of the repaired or replaced product. IPI will also refund Your return shipping to IPI of the defective product with Your claim; OR (b) deny Your claim and set forth, in writing, via US mail or via email, the reasons for denying the claim.
5.1. This limited warranty shall be construed and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the state of Tennessee, USA. Any dispute concerning the applicability or enforcement of this limited warranty shall be made by filing suit in courts located in Knox County, Tennessee.. CUSTOMER AND IPI EACH WAIVE TRIAL BY JURY.
